Attention Concerned Readers of movie reviews!

The movie reviews contained here are the highly opinionated personal assessments of one lone old school purveyor of intense genre related arts.

They are in no way intended to meet the qualifications of the status quo. My first movie was Barbarella, viewed at the tender age of two. In their defense, my parents couldn't find a babysitter. My Mom fed me candy to distract me from the film's more alluring aspects. I can't imagine a more charming picture of an early family life. And so it was I became infected with my love for the movies.

The value inherent to these movie reviews rests solely upon the measure of worth one places on the correlation between their own opinions and those of my own, the reviewer's. The point being that if you find we happen to share (more or less) somewhat similar movie tastes, then these reviews may indeed become more valuable in contrasting what should be seen against what should be avoided at all costs; otherwise they may be wildly off-base with your own opinions.

These random, heartfelt essays should be nothing if not entertaining to read. It remains the sincere hope of this reviewer that these unique and sometimes banal and often pointed commentaries and ridiculous insights into the pre- fabricated exploits of the heroes & villains that help make up our collective psyche provide a modicum of escape in their own right, at the very least. A few are just horrible, but I think most of them should be enjoyable to read.
